Configuring CUPS

I'm trying configure the CUPS server on mandrake 9.2, but I don't think my printer is supported. I'm using a lexmark Z42. Is there anything I can do tot get it working? OR maybe an alternative to cups?

That is quite the sig, did you figure it out yourself or did you use a program or website?

I see that is says "Save Yourself From Hell"

Oh and sorry I don't have a clue about the printer but I wanted to post about your sig.
