configuring a mail server behind a firewall

Hello All! I have installed Redhat 9.0, configured apache to open squirrelmail login page as default. My Redhat 9.0 box is behind a proxy/firewall Censornet (Debian) machine which I have set the firewall to allow http request. How do I configure my squirrelmail to forward mail to public domains (e.g. yahoo.com, hotmail.com)?

Any ideas/suggestions are very much welcomed.

thanks.

Welcome to LQ.

Squirrelmail is just a web interface. You will need to use an SMTP server like sendmail or qmail to do the rest.
