configure xdmcp


hi i have a linux 9 box, and i am trying to connect using xwin, but i get a connection refused. does anyone know what do i have to do on my linux box to get the xdmcp running?
also does anybody know of a product similar to xwin that is free?

look around in

/etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf if you use gnome

XManager is an alternative to XWin32

Enable XDMCP and then restart your X -

perhaps with a init 3 and then init 5 OR

at the X Display, Ctrl-Alt-BkSp
