configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler cannot create


hello

i was trying to install babytrans 0.9.1 on fedora core 9
when i do "sh ./configure" i get this error saying :
"configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler cannot create executables"

the config.log file contains :

running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

looks like you don't have the compiler packages installed. What distro is it?
