I keep on getting this error. I did a lot of research into possible solutions including installing other packages, however since I'm running (K)ubuntu 6.1, they were all incompatible. Any suggestions would be great since this is the second time it's come up in a program compilation.

Do you have gcc and gcc-c++ installed?
