Configuration for single wifi network
I am facing problems with my wifi network connection. I roam a lot with my mobile linux device. I want it to search and connect to only one known network and never try to do anything else. It should not try to configure itself for any unknown/open networks.
I am using NetworkManager with wpa_supplicant on Fedora 10.
My network manager is not giving me flawless connectivity as I move in and out of the said network. It doesnt connect to the network when I come back in.
How can I configure my NetworkManager to minimize connection problems and make it absolutely automatic. I want it to remember just one network with a given SSID. I would be happy to fix the frequency also i.e. stop scanning of all other frequencies.
Is there an alternative to NetworkManager which can perform better for above purpose?
Thanks in advance
