CONFIG_BLK_STATS=y in xconfig

im recompiling my kernel for the second time 2.4.20 so i can see disk usage in gkrellm. i need to enable CONFIG_BLK_STATS in xconfig when im compiling my kernel. i looked everywhere there is 10 million settings in xconfig and i cant seem to find it. i opened the .config file and was going to change the line that said

# CONFIG_BLK_STATS is not set

to

CONFIG_BLK_STATS=y

will this work

thanks,
AD

never mind. just incase someone else comes accross ths question in a search the answer is

open block devices in xconfig, and choose "y" for per partition statistics in /proc/partitions will change CONFIG_BLK_STATS=y in the .config file
