Unhappy config problems

hi...

I have had some problems configuring gnome applications... I recived a tip from a LQ member to install dropline...

But it did'nt help...

When I try to configure certain gnome applications (evolution or grip for example) i recive this:

checking for gnome-config... no
checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/local/lib... not found
configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install

Can somebody help me?

Yes.

You can also do a find /usr/local/lib/ -name gnomeConf.sh -print to see if you have it.

Check in /usr/X11R6/bin. Just another bin directory that stuffs gets installed into.
