concerning sendmail

hi all,

to prevent relays one is ment to specify which ip range can relay. this is done within relay-domains file.

Is there away i could just add a domain name that is allowed to relay using the server

eg ab123.com

so that when a user 123@ab123.com sends a mail using the server the server knows that that mail could be relayed. but a user 123@ac123.com mails are not relayed.

i tried putting in just the domain name within the relay-domain file but i was getting relay errors.

please advise

it still does not recognise the domain names. only ip address ranges. could there be a config elsewhere?
