Computer in endless reboot cycle
Hi,
I am a new Linux user (born yesterday), and I am running Fedora core 4, and all the updates are (finally) installed.
The last thing to get working was my wireless card.
I installed ndiswrapper and got to the point where "hardware device found".
However, I then went into the Network Devices setup, added a New Wireless, configured it, and clicked "Activate", and...
POOF! My computer suddenly rebooted. Now when Linux boots, it reaches a point early on and - you guessed it - reboots again. I am stuck and frustratingly clueless.
The only info. it gives me is:
"Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 0x000e0000. Printing eip: 0xc010404a."
and
"Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer at v.a. 0x74. eip: 0xc0117cb7."
and finally,
"Recursive die() failure, output suppressed."
How can I undo the terror I have unleashed?? Appreciate the help!
