Complex document viewer

Hi,

Is there an complex document viewer for linux?? I'm looking for a single lightweight application that can display pdf, doc, openoffice files, txt, and some other formats. Some suggestions??

OpenOffice will do all those except PDF. There are several stand-alone PDF viewers, e.g. kpdf, Gnome's PDF viewer, gv, etc.

Unfortunately OpenOffice is not so lightweight :) Second thing is that I would like to have separate documents viewer and separate editor.

It's quite a challenge - one single app which handles many complex formats and yet is lightweight...

Abiword can handle many formats and is a lot lighter than OpenOffice. The MS Word handling isn't as good as in OO, but it's good enough for many purposes.

I think Ligature (KViewShell) and Okular can view all those formats but the problem is that they are not yet ready for official release since they are KDE 4 applications. I've heard that Ligature (KViewShell) can be compiled on KDE 3.x, but I have never tried it myself.
