So,
I've tried searching for this problem, but didn't find something that matches..
I've configured everything right, including the video card drivers and etc, but when I start compiz and I start a program ( any ) the program shoes in white. If you maximize the program, eventually you see something...
My card is Intel915G and I'm using Gnome 2.20.2 ( Slackware 12 )
Yes of course.
I'm starting it with compiz --replace / compiz --replace decoration ini ccp & emerald --replace &
but no effect ... this problem still remains

Sorry for the delay, but I had some work to be done ... So I finally reinstalled compiz, but that didn't fix my problem... Also I still haven't found the info I was looking for... I'll keep on searching but if someone finds something please let me know
