Compiz Fusion wont let me resize maximized windows...

In the very first Compiz (before Beryl) and then with Beryl, I was able to resize maximized windows. This was a really cool effect as a maximized window would not really resize.. Instead, it would appear to "tear back" the window so that you could see things behind it.

With Compiz Fusion, I can't seem to be able to do this (or can't find the setting I'm looking for). When I maximize my windows, all borders disappear. I'm certain there is a setting for this, which I wish to disable. I want my borders there, even when maximized, so that I may "tear back" these windows while maximized...

Here is a screenshot of the old Compiz that shows off what I'm wanting to do on Fusion:

Any help would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

It still has the peeling back effect when windows are maximised. Maybe because your window decorations are disappearing you are not able to make the window(s) fold. Here's a list of the plugins and what they do, maybe you'll find the solution there: http://wiki.compiz-fusion.org/CompizPlugins
