I am using the beta release of Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon with compiz-fusion..all seems to work fine except that when I try to reboot the system pauses for a few minutes before restarting.

I have indirect rendering unchecked in fusion-icon > compiz options and 'INDIRECT=0' set in /usr/bin/compiz.

If I turn off the GL desktop via the compiz-icon on the taskbar reboot either proceeds normally or it takes a few mins for the 'reboot splash' to appear after pressing 'quit' in 'System'...I cannot figure out why this intermittently works...

I have the NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS graphics card...I've read anecdotely that some nvidia drivers cause problems but no universal solution...

Has anyone come across this ?
