compiling kino, gtk test program cant run
i have mandrake 9.1 installed. i have gnome 1.2 and 2.0 installed. i'm trying to get kino compiled and keep getting an error where it tests for gtk 1.2 or higher. it compiles the gtk test program and tries to run it but cant. so it says i dont have gtk 1.2 installed. i'm sure that i do accroding to my rpm listings with the -devel as well. i tried setting the LD_CONFIG_PATH to /usr/include/gtk-1.2 and also added several directories to my /etc/ld.so.conf
no luck. where does mandrake install gtk 1.2? what else could be wrong?
