compiling kaffeine-sc-plugin from svn

Hello, I wanted to install the latest version of kaffeine-sc-plugin from svn but i have a difficult, because I am not able to generate the file configure with autoconf, i tried and gave me the following error.
I'm using ubuntu 8.10 64bits

kaonteam@kaonteam-desktop:~/kaffeinesc$ autoconf -o configure error: m4_defn: undefined macro: _m4_divert_diversion the top level
autom4te: /usr/bin/m4 failed with exit status: 1
can someone help-me
