Compile PHP5 on Debian, APXS prob..!!

Hi All I have installed php5 + apache2 + apache2-dev on my debian system all went fine. I had to recompile to enable ORACLE support, I download the same source file as installed and run the following command :

./configure --with-oci8-instant-client --with-apxs2=/usr/bin/apxs2

Then I did
make install
I got the following error :

libtool: install: warning: remember to run `libtool --finish /root/php-5.2.0/libs'
chmod 644 /usr/lib/apache2/modules/libphp5.so
apxs:Error: Activation failed for custom /etc/apache2/httpd.conf file..
apxs:Error: At least one `LoadModule' directive already has to exist..
make: *** [install-sapi] Error 1

Now the thing is that DEBIAN has it's config file in /etc/apache2/apache.conf not httpd.conf httpd.conf is empty.

What can I do about this ?

Thx for any help

If Debian is using apache.conf and not httpd.conf, then make sure that it contains the line:
Code:
LoadModule php5_module /usr/lib/apache2/modules/libphp5.so
