Compile on seperate computer
I have a Ipcop box with a very small drive ~100MB free on each partition. I would like to install dansguardian but it requires I compile it, I do not have all the "make tools" and don't believe 100MB is near enough to install them. Is it possible to compile the program on a different linux box and copy it back over?
I am somewhat fluent in Linux but have never tried this before, and I am not sure where to start searching to find documentation. If you have a good link for me to look at or a term I can search for that should be plenty. Thanks for the help, Fourthbean |
Yes you can do that. Only requirement that what dansgaurdian requires to run is installed on the system.
