Hi
My computer hangs frequently..i mean nothing works not even mouse..i had
to restart each time. I doubt if there is something to do with my harddrive
because..sometimes while booting it stops with motherboard screen..if I shut
down and restart after some time it works properly..I have a dual disk dual
boot with windows XP and rhel.I had formatted my disk repeatedly during the
summer. I know that would reduce the life of the drive but it's too early
for this drive. Did nebody encounter this kind of problem? Please help...

hmmm...1st I´d take a look at power supply and RAM!

It could also be a heat problem. I have had this issue in the past with my desktop machine and putting a couple of extra fans in the case worked quite well... until the hard disk died
