command line email client to send mail to remote mail server

In linux server i configured evolution mail client to my exchange mail server. From evolution i was able to receive and send mails to my company.com mailids.

I need to send a alert messages using this mailid configured in evoultion to my other support teams to look after my server for any problem. But using evolution i am not able to send a mail from command line.

Is there any other mail client which works in command line and can be configured to remote mail server with out MTA configured locally.

Because i checked with mutt mail client but it requires local MTA to communicate to remote mail server.

Thank In Advance

I'm pretty sure that mutt can do this. Mutt has POP3 and IMAP support, you can find all the specific configuration parameters in the mutt manual
