command line address book program

Anyone know of any command line address book programs?

I am using a command line calendar (remind) and to do list (tdl) and would like to use a command line address book.

Surprisingly Google didn't help me much with this.

Thanks.

This looks exactly like what I was looking for.

I had to do a dance to get my contacts out of evolution and into ldif format, but now it's all set.

Thank you very much!

Man - next time record your dance and offer it for download! ;}

And you're most welcome.
