Color management using ICC profiles for xine?

Does anyone know a patch or at least ongoing work? I found a very basic patch for mplayer doing this (just lets you specify input profile, display profile and rendering intent as a -vf parameter) and it's ok for me, I can watch my DVDs and blurays with correct colors on my wide-gamut LCD now ...

BUT -- live digital television using VDR only works acceptable in xine (mplayer has for example lots of problems when switching channels), so, is there a way to get correct colors in xine? Right now, I'm always using the sRGB emulation of my display for TV, which isn't very exact, and it's annoying that it also affects the rest of the desktop
