Code:

Qmake version: 1.07a (QT: 3.3.6)
# cmake --version
cmake version: 2.4-patch 8

Install QT version 4. Stellarium Dependency list specifies this. QT3 is still used for KDE and so is installed by default, but QT4 is the latest.

Cheers, Ken

I installed qt-X11-opensource-src-4.3.3, and /usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.3.3/bin in addition to $PATH.
Quote:
$ qmake -v
QMake version 2.01a
Using QT version 4.3.3 in /usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.3.3/lib
After I did a complete installation of stellarium, another error pops up when I try to start this application.
$ stellarium
stellarium: error while loading shared libraries: libQtScript.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
$ cp -r ~/usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.3.3/lib/* /usr/lib/
$ stellarium
stellarium: symbol lookup error: stellarium: underfined symbol: _ZN9QListData7detach2Ev

But the program runs fine if I issue
$ ~/stellarium-<version>/src/stellarium

Do you have any ideas about this?

When compiling it, run
Code:
cmake -i .
, at the end of this configuration it'll ask for a path to qmake, so enter it as
Code:
/usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.3.3/bin/qmake
. You may need to say yes to advanced options for this.
