Clearing Recent Documents


Does anyone know how to clear Recent documents from the Fedrora core 2 main menu?

The information in your Recent Documents folder is stored in .recently-used in your home directory as an xml file. You can delete whatever you like from here. If you want to keep files from being added back to your list, try running
Code:
chmod u-w .recently-used
as root. That way you as a used cannot write to it, so no files will ever show up back in it again.
