Cleaning up email after deleting IMAP account in Evolution

I've added a few IMAP email accounts to evolution which I have since deleted. The problem is that email is still in the .evolution folder in my home directory. The accounts were pretty big and I would like to delete them to clean up some space.

If I were to delete the folders for the specific accounts in ~/.evolution/mail/imap/ would that cause a problem?
