clean Windows Partition Viruses by Linux ?


hey imagine you have a windows fat partition and its infected by Windows Viruses...

if I scan it with a Linux Based Antivirus in Linux, will it clean its viruses ?

by the way , whats the best anti virus for linux ?

yes, it will. Download F-Prot, and read the documentation (I haven't needed to do this, since I almost always use Linux )

You can also try avg for linux

It is a good Antivirus

Download a Knoppix disk then install F-Prot.

I installed f-prot , but I dont know how to runt it...

when I run f-prot nothing happens... and no graphical interface comes... is it command based anti virus ?

i am using Ubuntu.

XFPROT FOR LINUX

Interesting enough:
