Cinelerra only recognizes the first second of a video file
 

I am using Gentoo, with kernel 2.6.12. I just emerged the non-CVS version of Cinelerra. It starts up alright, but I tried to load a Quicktime file to play in it, it only seems to load the first second of the video. This has happened with different Quicktime files, which play just fine outside of Cinelerra. Anyone had this happen? Sorry if this is something blatantly obvious, I am a Cinelerra noob... :)
