chmod a-rwx dinesh_p_v cat > dinesh_p_v I am a root user


Can I get cleared what happens here ?

[root@lilly murugesan]# ll dinesh_p_v
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root           28 Apr  7 11:27 dinesh_p_v

[root@lilly murugesan]# chmod a-rwx dinesh_p_v

[root@lilly murugesan]# ll dinesh_p_v
----------    1 root     root           28 Apr  7 11:27 dinesh_p_v

[root@lilly murugesan]# cat  dinesh_p_v
dinesh dinesh dinesh dinesh

[root@lilly murugesan]# cat  > dinesh_p_v
dinesh dinesh dinesh dinesh

[root@lilly murugesan]# ll dinesh_p_v
----------    1 root     root           28 Apr  7 11:28 dinesh_p_v
