chmod

Is there a way to chmod all the contents in a folder?

I tried chmod 664 /www/htdocs but it just changed the folder to 664 and not the contents.

chmod -R 664 /www/htdocs

-R is for "recursive".

You can also chown with that flag in a similar manner.
