Chinese Recognistion

Hi,

I would like to be able to read and write Chinese on my Linux system, I have SuSE 7 pro and I have many friends who are Chinese and do have difficulty reading and writing English, is it possible, what do I have to do, I have noticed there are Chinese Linux versions now would it be easier to install one of them.

Regards

Reading Chinese should be no problem in all the English distro I used, like Redhat 7.2, Man 8.1 and slack 8.

There is a project called Chinese Language Extention you may do a search on.

you can type CLE at many Taiwanese searching engines like kimo(now tw.yahoo.com) and yam..

For me, I still have Cwinxp on my hd so that's where I go when I need to enter Chinese or..games...
