Chinese in YAGF
 

Happy New Year to all!

I have YAGF installed. I went to

https://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/downloads/list

and downloaded the German, Spanish and Chinese packages, and put them, as root, in /usr/share/tesseact-ocr/tessdata/

Originally, I just had English. After I downloaded the German and Spanish packages, they work. The Simplified Chinese package is one file, about 40MB, called chi_sim.traineddata

I do not see Chinese in the list of available languages in the drop down box in the YAGF frontend.

How do I add Chinese please?

Still don't know how to add Chinese to the GUI, but I found out how to use tesseract from the command line. Works well!
