Check Point VPN Client On Centos
Hi,
On a windows PC we are running the "Check Point VPN-1 SecuRemote" VPN client to connect to a third party firewall, just to FTP up text files. (Don't ask it's legacy stuff). We have no control over the firewall. The version installed is VPN-1_SecureClient_NGX_R60_HFA_02_Supplement_3_630002002.msi (actual install file name). Now being windows this client is not very stable and the machine needs frequent reboots etc. Basically a pain in the ass. We would like to install a VPN client on a Centos Box to give us all the good things we have come to expect from Linux. From reading some of the forum posts I can see that there are several contenders, but has anyone actually had success connecting to a Checkpoint firewall from a Linux client? Tips and Pointers will be much appreciated. Tony |
As far as I know check point is proprietary, but there has been some success getting interoperability working between open/freeswan and checkpoint.
