char to widechar conversion


Hi,


can you ppl suggest me how to convert char string to wide char string to make communication with windows in compatible way. I used mbstowcs(), it is not well suitable for my application.

Do you mean converting to a wide Unicode charset (UTF-16) or some other god-only-knows-why-it's-windows-only thing?
