Changing default system X11 mouse theme

Hi
I'm running MandrivaLinux 2006 with KDE 3.4.2. I want to change the X11 cursor theme used when kdm first shows up, as well as certain other times when the system displays the default theme that is provided by my distro. I know that I can change the cursors for my session in ~/.icons and through KDE's Control Center, but where would the directory be, if one even exists, for the cursors used in the aforementioned situations?

Thanks in advance!

To make a permanent change, move the "default" directory to "default.org" then rename one of the other directories "default" here:
Code:

/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/icons/
:)

Yep, that did it. :) Thanks!
