Changing color scheme for Gnome desktop

I'm trying to customize Gnome and have gotten many things to work but the color scheme is a problem. I cannot find where I can edit the color scheme. I'm sure you can do it but I don't know where to find it. Does anyone know where it could be? I'm using Gnome 2.6.

I'm not too sure about the colours, however, I do know how to switch themes.

First, make sure you have the Gnome themes installed. I'm assuming you are asking about FC2, so use the command:
Code:
rpm -qa | grep gnome-themes
Then, go to your main menu, then go to Preferences and Theme. You can mess around with each individual theme to customize it, but I've never done it so I can't give you anymore details.

Hope this helps.

I'm actually using Suse 9.2 Pro. I've learned to change the themes which help to change the color scheme. That's not what I'm looking for though. I want to be able to keep the same window borders and button styles but just change the color up a bit. I still haven't found this function. To answer your question though, I do have themes already installed.
