change keymap in x-win (slackware)


yes, how do i change the keymap i x-windows (slackware).
tried to alter XF86config but can't figure it out.. i want swedish keyboard.

been there, done that. doesn't seem to work.
shouldn't i specify the path to the keymaps or something?
