CentOS Boot from RAID 1 + initrd+raid1

Hi,

I am trying to take my existing install add it to a raid1 array.

Im following this guide:
http://www.novell.com/communities/node/4520

So far i have completed up to step 3. But how to I add the raid1 kernel modules to initrd (step 4)?

If i try and boot my degraded array now I get a kernel panic as it cant find /boot of /dev/md0.

How do i rebuild my initrd with Raid1 support using grub as my boot loader?

finally go it. if i remember correctly this is what I did:

added to /etc/modprobe.con
alias md-personality-3 raid1

create initrd
mkinitrd --fstab=/mnt/newboot/etc/fstab --with=raid1 --preload=raid1 initrd-raid `uname -r`

reboot

stop and goto command in grub
grub> root (hd1,0)
grub> setup (hd1,0)
grub> chainloader +1
grub> boot

then i was able to boot of /dev/md0 as initrd had support for raid1

YAY, migrated my system from a 1 disk install to a raid1 mirror with NO data loss.
