Centos 6 = Thunderbird 38.4 - msg body font sizes problem
Hi Guys,
I'm having trouble getting the msg body of incoming emails to be consistent & readable. Some are very small, some have very large fonts. I've tried setting the sizes in the Display-> Formatting->Advanced options, but even setting all 4 options to 40 pts(!), the small ones stay the same. Any help appreciated. |
That sounds really...strange!
It's not something to do with the mail rendering etc is it? My Linux box running Thunderbird is at work and am I not but I recall there's options to display HTML, Simple HTML and plain text which significantly affect the rendering. You could try selecting simple html or plain text to see what happens then go from there. Cheers, Steve |
In the Fonts & Encoding window under Advanced, do you have the Minumum Font size set? I have mine set to 16. Also try unchecking the box that says "Allow messages to use other fonts" under the Font Control section on the same window.

thx for the ideas guys, but in order to connect easily with Exchange for calendaring I've gone with OWA (instead of TBird) for now, so I guess this one can die quietly...
