Hi everyone,

Quick question... has anyone been successful in getting CenterIM/CenterICQ to work with Facebook Chat via Jabber?

Thanks
Naim

Linux has several ICQ clients, and Jabber support is also supported well by Kopete. A quick Google search turns up lots about folks using Kopete to Facebook chat. And according to the CenterIM page, it compiles and works well under Linux, and the source code is available. Did you check Google?

Hi there, TB0ne,

Thanks for your message, I was aware that several clients already do support facebook chat like Gaim/Pidgin and Kopete, however the reason why I asked about centerIM is because I wanted a console client that could do the same -- I inputted the settings correctly into centerIM but it appears to connect and disconnect immediately after, with no success...

Ok....if you'd like help getting it going, you can either post the error(s) that you get (check the logs, etc.), or check the centerIM documentation.
