Cedega 4.3
 

Hi,

I have got Cedega 4.3 debian file on my Kubuntu box and I would like to know if there is anywhere I can find instructions on how to Install it and Set it up. I tried installing the file, and then I ran 'cedega setup.exe' in the cd directory of Vice City, and that worked very well but when it got to insert disk 2 - I couldn't open my CD drive. So I put the next disc in my Other CD drive, and re-directed the install to the other CD Drive.

It then asks me to insert the CD that has data4.cab - There is NO data4.cab in Vice City. So now I can't install Vice City.

So is there a guide that I can follow to set it up correctly?

this is all over the TG forums on how to get around this issue.

3 ways. 1 use P2P to install, it has a way to umount the CD

2nd way have 2 terminals open, one as user for installing the game, 2nd as root for mount/umount/eject on the CD.

3rd way, copy all CDs into a single directory and install off the HD.
