I have posted before about not being able to get to my cdrom. I think I may have found out why, but need help in fixing it.

I am able to get into my floppy no problem, but when I try to get into my cdrom my floppy drive lights instead of the cdrom. Can anyone help me with that one?

I am new to this any "step by step" help is much appreciated.

step by step

Lets start with a "step by step" listing of how you are accessing both your floppy and your cdrom.

Also, what does your /etc/fstab contain?
