cdrecord and .inf files

Has anyone used .inf files to burn wav audio? If so how did they generate the .inf files?

My problem is I need to make the pregap=0 secs but none of the cdrecord options I've tried work. But I notice that k3b generates a .inf file for each track and cdrecord uses those.

Code:
# Cdrecord-Inf-File written by K3b 0.12.17, Thu Nov 23 17:42:30 2006

Songwriter=     ''
Composer=       ''
Arranger=       ''
Message=        ''
Tracktitle=     ''
Tracknumber=    1
Trackstart=     0
# Tracklength: 05:05:70
Tracklength=    22945, 0
Pre-emphasis=   no
Channels=       2
Copy_permitted= yes
Endianess=      little
Index=          0
Index0=         -1
The part I need to make one is the track length setting. Sox has a way of generating the track length in seconds but the output is un-pipable so I cant sed or grep it.

Hi.

Apologies for the delayed reply - I didn't get the notification email.
You're probably better off using cdrdao and a 'TOC' file (see 'man cdrdao' for details).

Alternatively, I maintain a script which does CD burning, and it defaults to a pregap of 0 for audio CDs.
