Does a utility exist that will convert cda format to mp3? I am running Kubuntu 7.10. I have access to KAudioCreator, but it would not read the CD. The CD was copied on and plays on XP.
If you really have .cda files, you can open them with XMMS and use the Disk Writer Plugin as Output plugin. This will create WAV files, which you can convert in turn by use of e.g. ffmpeg or mpgenc.
