cd to iso tool to make pc think iso is a cd

Im using ubuntu 7.10 I need a program that will turn a cd into an .iso
and a program that cam mount an .iso so the pc thinks its a cd in a cd rom
do you have any ideas of what I could use

ddmount

dd will copy the cd to a file with the correct arguments.
mount can mount images on a loopback interface with the correct arguments.

if I cant find graphical programs I will use them thanks

I think you can use any burning software, like K3b to burn a CD to an iso image (look for something like "burn to file" or the like).

I've never used either one, but here's a KDE widget (gui) for mounting iso's. Here's a different one, ubuntu specific.
