cd ripper for kde


Does anyone know of a cd-ripper that will run in kde?

A gtk program called the grip is nice.

Kaudiocreater is shipped with most KDE based distos. You can use various backends e.g lame to rip CDs do the format you want.

If you want to do it natively so to speak then make sure that you have the kdemultimedia-kio-plugins installed once you have inserted the CD type in audiocd:/ in Konqueror then drag and drop whatever versions of the ripped files you want and they will be converted on the fly, personally I use grip it takes less CPU.
