CD Recording Software

Can anyone recommend a good CD burning package? I have used KonCD but have found it to be buggy and keeps crashing. I get the helpful message 'unable to start record' when I try to copy. I then tried to rip an image and the prog just crashed. Any other good ones out there?

Thx in advance

xcdroast is probably the most mature package, although I don't believe it can record audio cds at present.

cdrecord is all you need, every GUI burning software is just a front-end to cdrecord, among the most versatile front-ends are gcombust, xcdroast, gtoaster and eroaster.

Try the latest version of XCDRoast - I think its alpha10. Works fine.

XCDroast is crap, (pardon my french)... try something decent like eroaster, gcombust or gnome-toaster.
