capture Kde & Qt screens such as qtparted

Pls help me capture Kde & Qt screens.
Qtparted and some other programs don't let me print.
Parted used to give full information. But I can only find nparted and
qtparted on Knoppix. I don't see a way to print the partial
information I can get from either of these programs.
I have tried nparted > /tmp/np.txt
qtparted > /tmp/qtp.txt
cat /dev/vcs1 > /tmp/vcs1.txt
...
cat /dev/vcs4 > /tmp/vcs4.txt
and copy and paste.
The qtparted is as bad as a windows window it won't even let me
highlight anything much less copy someting.
Solutions and comments welcomed.
