cant open .pls files with xmms from browser
 

Hi everyone,

i cant seem to open the .pls links i see on webpages. Konqueror asks me if i want to save the file or open it with xmms. i pick "open with xmms", xmms does start but it doesn't put the file in the playlist. i have to save the .pls file to disk and click it in order for it to play.

The file associations seem fine, though. i have a x-scpls mime type associated with xmms with command "xmms %U" in the settings.

Anyone have an idea?

The pls file may be written in windoze hence xmms can't read it. Copy it into your local machine, do a cat filename.pls - then copy the ouput into a file and save as newfile.pls. Open newfile.pls on xmms and u'll be on :-D
