Can't move window out of bounds

Mandrake 10.0
KDE 3.2
latest nvidia drivers

I can't move a window higher than the top of the screen. I can move the window outside the border left right or bottom but not top.
(ie. x position into the negatives)

I use this when displaying movies on the TV. Now i can still see the titlebar every time.
It worked fine in Mandrake 9.2 KDE 3.1

check your kde control center for options like that. my guess is to check window behavior.

yeah i did. there's a lot of options there but I tried them all and none change this problem.. They probably did it so you don't "lose" it at the top.

Ok.. there's an option in xine not to show the borders of the window.. so it doesn't show the title bar. That's all i was looking for..

what are you trying to do? and what does xine have anything to do with it?
