cant install x-cd-roast
 
I already downlaod x-cd-roast "cdrtools-2.00.3.tar.gz" , after unzip it, i had try to configure, make and then make install. When i try to type xcdroast to run the application it doesnt work.

Can i know why? Is there anyway to install the file?

Anyone know using the Linux command to burn a data cd?

Anyone knows plese help, thank you........

What distro are you using?

Also if you open up a terminal and type "xcdroast" it will give you a read out of the error.

It comes out the belowing error, seems i havent install it

[root@localhost eugene]# xcdroast
bash: xcdroast: command not found

Where does the default x-cd-roast install? I had ./configure, make and make install

Can i know whats happen? Maybe the process comes out error

You might want to try the command in /usr/local instead of your /home directory.

Either that or do a: find / -name "xcdroast"
Or if youre using redhat, you can become root and the type updatadb, then once the database is updated type locate xcdroast

Also, check the install file. X CD Roast is finiky about the dependencies that are installed.

and what errors happen when you try to configure?
